Brooklyn-based writer and editor

Emily’s work can be seen in The Washington Post, The Cut, Allure, Healthline, Glamour and many more national publications.

It feels like she’s written about everything, from foundation and blush round-ups to an ultimate poop guide. But some of her favorite pieces include a deep dive into healing trauma through stretching for Allure, a Rome wellness guide for MindBodyGreen and an armpit detox she tested for BuzzFeed back in 2018.

She’s also written multiple essays on what it’s like living at-risk for Huntington’s Disease. This includes a 2019 print piece in Women’s Health and her most recent thought-provoking essay in The Washington Post.

Emily also dabbled in the theater wold, co-creating and co-writing an original play with her best friend, Julia Karis. Codependent was reviewed as a “crowd-pleaser” filled with “whip-smart dialogue” and won won Best Comedy at the 2019 Capital Fringe Festival in Washington, D.C.
