Some of her standout pieces include a deep dive into healing trauma through stretching for Allure, a Rome wellness guide for MindBodyGreen and an armpit detox for BuzzFeed.
She’s also written multiple essays on what it’s like living at-risk for Huntington’s Disease. This includes a 2019 print piece in Women’s Health and her most recent thought-provoking essay in The Washington Post.
Along with these articles, Emily co-created and wrote an original play with her best friend, Julia Karis. Codependent was reviewed as a “crowd-pleaser” filled with “whip-smart dialogue” and won won Best Comedy at the 2019 Capital Fringe Festival in Washington, D.C.
